quick question

Is it normal for all my stiches to hurt worse and be more uncomfortable now than they were after delivery? TMI but it feels like I’ve got a tampon in wrong or something…

oh boy did i feel like that – if it’s concerning you always call your dr!

  2. mo*reezy replied:

yeah, I felt pretty good until 4-5 days after, then felt more pain. Just keep up with those tucks pads and the squirt bottle thingy, take some ibuprofen and tylenol (you can take them back-to-back) and get off your feet!

  3. Jen replied:

I have no idea, but my vote would be that you are starting to heal and therefore stuff hurts more. Kind of like how a scab itches as it gets better?

  4. sara replied:

Sorry I can’t be helpful – but I wrote a book of a comment to your last post from yesterday. Just wanted to say you look great and the baby is beautiful!

  5. Adriane replied:

that sounds terrible – not sure since i had a csection. hope you feel better soon!!

I have no input, but I sure am reading the comments in case this happens to me! I hope it feels better!

  7. Jennifer replied:

I know nothing about this, but wanted to send you a few hugs…hope you feel better very soon…stitches suck!

I have missed SO much!!! Congratulations on Sweetness making it safely into this world!! I probably would have had a nervous breakdown in the NICU – I am so impressed that you held it together. Overall, I am so relieved that both you and your little girl are doing well!!!!After having finished childbirth class two days ago, I can’t get over how swiftly your labor progressed. I know that it can happen that way but it still surprises me to hear about it. The midwife said that some women experience more trauma when labor progresses that quickly and were wondering if you feel that way. If so, I wanted to let you know that that is normal. My sister had a full episiotomy with her first child and said that recovering from it was worth than recovering from childbirth. She said that the stitches were really painful. Not sure if that helps you or now. Probably worth calling the Dr to make sure!XOXOXO

Yes, I felt pulling for lack of a better word until the stitches dissolved around 2.5 weeks or so. I agree to just take it easy, don’t sit directly on your bum (tilt it back a little) and keep the area as clean as you can. It does get better, I promise!

I hope you’ve started to feel better – can you believe it’s two weeks tomorrow?!?
